Guys anyone going to Santa pod Next weekend for USC? Friday Saturday & Sunday? Its a camping weekend?
I have managed to get next weekend off work so anyone interested? Was excellent last year but I had 8 cars camping with me, only got 2 this time as they are all working!! and I aint going up on my own like a billy no mates! :D

Hi Mel.........its got a reputation for being a chav fest but last year was excellent and it was mainly Jap cars Fords and Big V8's there was the odd Chavalier and fiesta RS going up the strip though..... I wasted a Fiesta rst with Nos it was histerical and he was well confident when chatting before we got to the starting line lol

I got done by one of those last nite on my private drag strip!! Feckin corsa. He had me up to 125 leptons. Must have been a valver or atleast some throttle bodies or something :confused:

Honestly dont mind mate, sort it with your missis first im up for cruising up Saturday morning camping Sat night and staying Sunday day they run all of the 700 bhp Skylines and big power Jap cars on the Sunday and stuff like that!
I ran my 200 on the Sunday last year it was 36 degrees fcukin roasting!!! I managed a 14.4 I was a tit though and Ran midday!! hottest possible time!! LOL and had my air con on and others were pushing there cars to the start line to keep them cool LOL

I ran a 15.1 when my dump valve blew off the car ,so done the last second or so with no engine,and i'm not going to argue with you all day as i have the footage on tape showing the times!

Were gonna have a race although i think he'll beat me hands down as he has spent loads of his in comparison. Although the weather forcast doesn't look to good for the weekend there.
i might be up for this. its my birthday on the sunday so i'll be going out on the piss on friday and probably spend saturday hungover so if i go up, it'll be for the sunday only. is it £15 for 3 runs like they normally do on the big days? are the queue's huge like on japfest and do they keep stopping it to show the poxy wheelie chevy and the jet cars/lorry?

last time i was at pod the queue's were about 1.5 hours long and they didn't prep the track either so grip was shit. i don't want to go back if its like that again.
do they prep the strip for USC and what are the queues like.
last time i was at pod i really couldn't work out why i couldn't launch, it was strange, i went to the very end of the strip after a run and tried a launch on the gravelly road that runs alongside it and it gripped and flew. strange.
Escy, Last year I paid £15 for 3 runs and the longest I waited was 15 minutes!
Not sure if the strip was preped, but I had problems getting off the line with a 3k rpm dump of the clutch spun in second a little too.

Well with sw-cc we have a stand/club area
So you get closer to the strip/toilets and are in a more secure area than regualr camping.
Also there will always be people around on the stand so you wont have any issues with safety ;)
You dont have to put the car on show if you dont want to either :)
Just a thought guys.
