View Full Version : Autofest - Mondello - 31 August
I have already mentioned this in another thread, but just wondering who all's heading to Mondello for Autofest on Sunday? Have a B&B booked for Saturday night to avoid any early starts.
My 14a is going to be on the RMS stand (and I hopefully will have my spacers from Bren in time). Really looking forward to the Jap drifters, roll on Sunday :thumbs:

I'll be head along. My car will be amongst those in the public carpark. And I'll be waiting a while before leaving this one, as an over eager golf rear ended my car about 10 meters outside the gate, after the "D1 Ireland" round in Rosegreen.
I braved a washed out qualifying yesterday so i'll defo be there for the main event on Sunday! :thumbs:
dave did you go and watch yeterday,i wasnt sure if spectators were aloud :(
my car wasnt ready{story of my life}so i couldnt take a spin down :mad:
and it looks like it aint gonna be ready for sunday either :furious:
I was spannering for a mate who was competing, not really supposed to be spectators as such.
At least you can come down to watch anyway?
yes ill defo be there to watch :nod: i see phil and the driftworks boys will be there too :D
gona be a top day :nod:

Just looking at the weather forcast and they said it was gonna be dry on Sunday wooo hooo.
Had a really good day yesterday, really well organised show, and despite a damp start to the day, it remained dry for the whole show.
The judging on some of the drifting was dodgy to say the least, but watching the jap drifters in action for the first time over here was something else (I want a S15 now so badly!)
Got 3 hours of video between me and my mate plus a few pics ;

Apologies for the quality of some of the darker pics (mines is the green S14a with the subzeros)

Excellent show. I loved it when all the drifters lined up doing donuts before the start of the drift event. Talk about tyre smoke.
Had convinced my brother to go along, as he hadn't been to a drifting event before. I'm sure he will be on to go again after that.
