Could not make Hickstead on Sunday :( (something to do with beer / holiday coming / something else) but did see a few 200's in Guildford in the evening. Red S14, 2 red S13..mongoose...
But boy was there a hell of a police turn out, including a helicopter hanging over for hours!
Police were there with a laser on a tripod, and on nearly every corner pairs of officers were taking down vehicle details of suspect vehicles or cars that kept driving round.
The police have decided to close the main car park where people used to park up, but there are so many cars now that every little area to park including the whole of an Esso forecourt (no fuel for you!) is filled with modified or sporty cars. Some areas even look as if they are turning into "club areas"
On leaving decided to go the back way out of G'ford away from all the spectators/police etc, just not worth the risk of being pulled over.....they were stopping people and looking for anything.
