Yesterday the car Passed the Swedish registration test.
So now I'm the owner of the first swedish registered S15 ever :D
I found out that the car had a 3" front-pipe from Trust to compliment the 3" cat-back. :)

Now I only need i 3" downpipe, a 3" cat-replacement and a Apexi filter kit to be super happy :)

Will get the swedish plates tomorrow or the day after. I'll take some pics then. :)

Best regards
paul

Well done!

Although, on the first read of the title, I couldn't work out what was so special about having a road legal S15 in Swindon :wack: ;)

Nice one, Paul.

Try Nengun (http://www.nengun.com) for your exhaust. Got mine coming from them. Don't think its going to quite make it for JAE though... :(

Well, people tend to choose skylines or EVOs instead of the Silvias over here if they dare to sit on the other side of the car. I think most people are scared of sitting on the other side. I have no problems with it.

They are almost impossible to get here striaght from Japan. So most people buying JDMs send their cars through UK first. It then becomes an EU-import (less restrictive).

Congratulations, get some piccies up asap

I don't have any new pictures. Only old ones which have been posted already.
This is the newest one of those taken in Sweden with UK plates.

I may be going to give the car a proper wash and a wax coat tomorrow. If that's the case, I'll post piccies then :)

I'd have thought that the stick on deflectors that we all have to get when we go to the continent would have sorted that....?

The light beam pattern is now flat :)
And that's legal in Sweden.
I removed the lights, took out the headlight light bulp and looked inside.
There is a small steel thingie sticking up with a stairway type of look (only 2 stairsteps).
Just use a no 6 in the picture to make it even and the lightpattern should be flat.http://www.dinbyggare.com/artiklar/bilder/276/bild2_g9-k3.jpg

Don't know if a flat pattern is legal in Schweiz. And the light pattern might not be perfekt. It isn't on mine, but it passed the tests :D

Sorry for the bad english. I hope you understand

Hi.
I live in Stockholm.

There is actually 2 S15s in Sweden. But the other one hasn't been registered in Sweden and is thereby not road-legal.

Been forgetting the piccies al the time. But I might have the car in a big car meet (Stret cars fest) this weekend so after that there should be loads of pics :)

I'll try to work it out.
Contacted a amateur photograper with a good camera and he was interested in a photo session of my car :)

Until that I'll try to get hold of my sisters camera again.

The light pattern is pretty flat from the beginning. Before I modified my lights I didn't have any problem with cars flashing their highbeam at me. So I suspect I didn't flashbang their eyes to much with my light settings :D

My car came without the extra plastic, so my car is lighter than yours :p

I will add sideskirts and those rearthingies when I can afford it.
Rear-thingies will probobly be Nissan OEM. As for the sideskirts I haven't decided yet if I should go Nissan or aftermarket.

Been thinking of getting one of those low rear wings which some S15s in Australia have. And maybe a Vertex front bumper.

But right now I can't even afford getting a bigmac with fries :annoyed:
Although the paycheck is coming in 20 days :D

I was on a airstrip event yesterday which a Swedish tuning and importing company hosted called Performance by Z.
They had constructed a small course with cones.
As it rained half of the day it became more of an drift training session :D .

I had much fun with the car. And the car is so calm when going sideways.

Here are some pics taken by a PB-Z photographer.

The Evo looks evil

Yeah. It was very nice. To bad it had a broken Lambda so it didn't rev over 4000 rpm :(
It was just standing there in the grass the whole event.

another pic of me spinning around and hitting some cones :D
It was very wet on the track :)

Flat wont work with our MOT - I've read about some that actualy flip the pattern... some prismatic kind of sticker but to this date I couldn't find anywhere to get it from...
If you come across some could you send some over?

Cheers Bean

A guy here in Sweden called Wiktor has converted a pair of S15 lights and a bunch of Skyline-lights.
You could try to contact him.

his e-mail is
wiktor@skylinemannen.com

If you look inside the light from the light bulb entering position, you can see a small metal piece which looks kinda like this. --i__ (<-- bad illustration)
If you could find a way to invert it to look more like __i-- (<-- bad illustration)
The light pattern could be OK.
The guys who modded my lights simply made it ----- (<-- bad illustration)

I hope it makes things easier
