View Full Version : Got any turbo's Bren
Looking for a turbo to replace my dying T25 .. have u got any turbo's in good condition that might fit the bill .. . can't afford new ones .. .
Any T25H / T28 maybe even a T3 (4x4 off cossies - reconned of course) if I can stretch to the price
PM me if you want
Ive only got a couple of 4x4 Cossy turbos in. They need reconditioning but will be sold having been stripped and rebuilt (by my Garrett technition btw) with new seals, bearings, balance etc.
It will take a week to get one reconned and theyll be £250 exchange (for whatevers on your car now) when finished.
Or I can get your turbo reconned for £235 assuming the basic components (conpressor wheel, shaft, housings etc) are ok.
Cheers Bren
I'll find out next week whats exactly is wrong with my turbo and contact u then.
Thx for the info on the prices tho - they look pretty good :)
Can u do a fitting kit for the cossie 4x4 turbos - I assume they are T3's and will need a custom manifold or something along the lines - no use getting a T3 if I can't fit it or can't afford it rather :o
Hoping I might stretch to it
will also do gauges and stuff at the same time I think but will let u know when I know how much its gonna cost me in total - next week hopefully.
cheers

I dont do the T3 fitting kit :( You need the T3 flange welding onto the S13 exhaust manifold, modified (or completely ditched) water pipes, new dump pipe and a new oil feed pipe :)
I can supply loads of different gauges and just about any other part you might need for your 200 :)
Have a look at some of the stuff I do here: www.apexperformance.co.uk Bear in mind that the istes far from comprehensive though.
do u know anyone who might do a fitting kit or a custom exhaust manifold and how much will that set me back ?
Only ND and they want around £450 for the kit.

I thought there was some talk about getting custom manifolds made but then it sort of died off .. . do you know what happened with that - think it was fairly expensive - might have to save up for it :)
I dont know what happened. I was going to buy a S13 manifold with T3 flange attached to get them copied but the guy selling it didnt get back in touch with me so the idea died a death.
Just saw the sub-zero tubular exhaust manifold on Norris's site.
I know this sort of died a while back - but 2 questions
Can u get one similar to this made as a one off at all ?
And if so how much will it set me back - I know its gonna be a bomb but lets see. Might do a post to see if there is any interest in something like this.
I'll speak to my turbo guy next week and see how much sense he makes and whether he has any contacts in getting hold of these or fabricating these !
I cant get them made without something to work from, that would mean buying a manifold from ND to use as a template which would make the process way too exspensive for just one order.
Stainless manifolds would work out at around £500.
Cool - now to see if we have any interest !
Here we go again.

Would that be a highmount style with a downpipe stub to enable T04/T3 or just a plain tubular (log ?) version of the original ?
They would probably modify a standard manifold if asked. Ill give them a ring and see what they say :)
