the best, cheapest way to cool an intercooler ready for a run up the strip?
i have seen some people using fire extinguishers seconds before a run, or how about adapting a washer jet to spray water across the IC??
suggestion/thoughts please :D

i believe they use c02 extinguishers matey, this cools the air to around -50 i think, but this wont last long so go for a biggie. :)
They banned the Washer jet systems like on the Evo's and WRX's in NZ. Because the water goes onto the track and causes traction problems.
A friends 10 Second Mirage had a water cooled system stored in the boot. He filled it with Ice before had. It also had two huge fans. But that is getting a bit over the top for the everyday person.
Celica GT Fours have a water cooled turbo. Works very well.
watercooling was also not allowed at Santa Pod for the Japshow event... and if you got caught using it they wouldn't let you run.
