Damage Repair

Dudes, someone reversed into me, smashed up my bumper and fogs..... Any recommendations as to where to get repaired, or possibly new bumper, oh and i think the smash has broken my WMIC :D , so gonna need a 2nd hand one if someone has for sale (u never said Mart if yours is for sale......)

Just need some ideas and places to try for repair ? :cry:

PDH14A (Paul) has his WMIC you can buy for a small fee it would be a good buy as its barly covered 30k....Mine was an s15 WMIC I sold mine a while back before I got the FMIC

Just been to repair place
and looked at damage properly....
I need a whole new bumper, fog lamp, and any brackets they find smashed once they take my bumper off....
I said i would try and find a place selling new bumpers, anyone other than Nissan, same for fog lamp, as trying to keep the cost down so i dont have to go through my own insurer... But a wild estimate i reckon, looking at £700, maybe £800 to get me back to new ?!
Bumper through Nissan, cost about £400 to £500 !
anyone know some good places to source new parts ?

I saw mate.(post).. Gutted, bloody hassle, i think i will have to go down the insurance road, luckily i had a witness with me, but the meeting going on in the office also watched the bloke reverse into me, so plenty of witnesses :)
I just dont like the idea that this could affect my premuim, even though it aint my fault, and its his insurance company that would pay out :(

Buy second hand parts mate no need to buy a new bumper if you are geting it sprayed.

Ditch the fogs how often do you use them ?

Headlights are a big problem though thay are silly money :(

Get a quote from Nissan and give it to the person who crashed into you. it's going to be well over a grand for the parts alone, especially if the WMIC is fecked. When his insurance pays out go and get secondhand parts, get it repaired and put all the extra cash you have off them towards a FMIC :nod:

Cheers lads.... if i had the choice, i would get used parts for me car, but this repair place (called TST in cardiff), wont fit used parts, only new to warranty there work....
There estimate is at £1,410 (covers new front bumper, a new front fog, a new condensor + fixing the brackets, paint, labour....)
He is gonna check to see if the WMIC is busted, so i'll be on the look out for a replacement one most likely.... FMIC, not got the £££ at the mo :(
As of last night, i noticed i got a bit of a rattle when taking her over 5500rpm (foot to the floor jobby), god knows what that means :cry:
I'll defo be in touch though if i need anything.... (am after an induction kit, does the blitz sus air filter act as the same thing ?)

Without sounding too thick, thats similar to k&n induction kit, gives off a different sound in the engine (a rumble/grumble), gives a little extra hp ?
If so, thats what i am after !

I've got that Blitz one on my moter it came with this adaptor plate replacing the entire old box and I don't know about power, but it does sound awsome.
