I guys I've booked track time at trax this year :D what I was wondering is would there be any down sides to running with out the ABS fuse in. as I always take it out for drifting and know that if I spin I can stop the car without the fuse in going backwards without the ABS going nuts. Just wondering what your guys do if you've got ABS.
Cheers
Richard
I leave the ABS operational - doesn't get in the way of driving in my experience :)
Mine has never kicked in on a dry trackday, maybe on downshifts for a second but its not that aggresive of an ABS system.
I keep meaning to take mine out at trackdays to try but it keep forgetting. :wack:
The ABS does seem to enjoy its self when im dissapearing backwards into the seenery! Its not built for going backwards at speed i guess.

its the backwards part I'm thinking of really. not that I intend to be going backwards :wack:
it doesnt like backwards atall, thats why i dont have it atall anymore, as my car is only for drift use i decided to bin it, never had a problem on thje road with it, you really need to be going for it to get the fronts to lock
