Anyone know how I can insert a tick in Word 2000?

Go to the insert menu, and choose symbol...
You should find a wigdings font window open for you...
The "ticks" in the bottom right corner somewhere!
Either that or change the font to Wingdings2 and type in a 'P' a capital one.
