Can someone please identify this mystery part from my S15. It has been removed in the past and whoever removed it had no idea where/how to put it back. It had been attached to the back of a bolt near the washer bottle. :p

Part no. 62254-91F00

I've tried to look on the parts CD but I don't think it includes the S15 (?). Besides, I never seem to fine anything when I search by part number...

I just found some O rings, so I've sussed it. :p

BTW, if its possible to get a copy of your one, I'd be immensely grateful. :notworthy

Someone on nissansilvia.com said it's one of the covers for the side air intake holes in the front bar. Unfortunately this doesn't really tell me much...

I posted it in the members section months ago!

Thanks. Just found that. :o

FAST says: GRILLE-FR BUMPER, which sort of confirms the above. Must have had an Aero bumper in Japan, which is slightly annoying.

Dont think its off an aero front bumper as my grilles are large black mesh. Have you got fogs? Are you sure it isnt the cover for when no fogs are in place. Just a guess really.

That's a possibilty. Quite a few people on nissansilvia.com have said its the cover for the drivers side Aero vent. They also say that most people remove them for better air flow...

EDIT: just checked FAST. It says the fog cover is 62256.

It goes next to the fog...

same as one on my old non aero though so it might not be off your car..

Yeah, saw that on FAST but its a different PN.

Also, can you see the slight failing in the location of it shown on the diagram?

Check the text in the brackets

Which implies they fit both sides. Bearing in mind that it plugs the gap next to the fog lights, what's the first thing to happen when you put it on that side?

The SpecR Aero part is already a mesh. Be easier to use one of them if you can get it cheapish
