anyone know much about the Fomula D series in the states?
I saw the vid of the first round this year and, to be frank, they werent very good. almost every run involved someone spinning.
Gushi is great to watch, in last years D1 USA round he put up a damn good fight against Taniguchi when he still had the 240sx his dad built
Theres a much more diverse field in formula D too, it doesn't get better than twin battles between an 86 and a works viper, especially when the 86 wins:D

Formula D is for some of the drivers who take part in the D1 Irwindale round. People like Alex Pheiffer and Ernie Fixmer and Bryan Norris.
They have rounds in Atlanta, newJersey and some other places. Around 7/8 rounds. Tarzan Yamada has been driving a new Viper in it.
Cheers

I'm probably in the minority but i think those new Mustangs are wicked, i just wish they'd make them in RHD.

i ve got to agree they do look quite nice , but just got back from florida and there everywhere , really look the part but they all sounded crap , use to wind the window down to hear them pull away from the lights beside you , but they just made a patheticly horrible noise  still a decent exhaust should sort that out ;)

From watching the first round video that was drifting around at driftworks, Samuel Hybinette (spelling) drove the viper. Got his Ass handed too him (as they say in the states:p) by the Jap American Hybrid Robbie Nishida (S. Minoa's buddy (D1). I loved that K-Truck!
Anyways, I don't mind Gushi's mustang. Looks intimidating, must be heavy! Can't beleive he's 18 yrs old and drives a works Drift Speccced Supercharged Cobra Engined Monster. Wish my dad was japanese :wack: :p
Bazzzer: I know what you mean. I used to go to uni in Orlando for a year, and the Bastard Mustangs Are EVeryWhere!!! You see like 20 of them every day, and thats just on two trips. :hurl: But Gushi's ain't no standard spec or even a GT mustang.
