BBC weather looks a lot better than weather.co.uk's weather.
Lets go with the BBC :)

Cool :)

Not all competitors are there though - I think theres sposed to be 70 TA entrants, only ~50 on the web site. Not sure how many drifters there are in total...

400 ish IIRC

That divides us up nicely, Jez and Stu have similar power levels. As do Kirkster and myself.

Should be fun

Yep, mines been entered by PTS and it'll be stickered as such on the day.

With my tediously quiet track exhaust mines probably sub 400 now

I would imagine my cars a fair bit heavier than Jez's and I've got a GTROC trackday next Friday so I won't be really hammering mine. I'd be quite happy for a bit of rain to even things up a bit :)

Looking forward to it, should be a giggle.

Anything really slow entered in the RWD class that I can slaughter ? :D

The forecast is changing, every day is looking brighter and it looks like it will be mixed on Saturday, so when the Porkers go out, we’ll do a rain dance, and pray to the sun god for our runs

Be good to see you all out on the track, seeing how you all drive it will be fun to watch...

I can’t think what you mean, I’m a very careful and considered driver and I’m sure that the other’s are too… ;)

I'd like to see Bob climb into his car in a clown suit. It's bad enough as it is!! :wack:

I couldn’t get a fire proof clown suit, the blue wig meant that the helmet didn’t fit, and the comedy shoes made heel & toeing a nightmare.
I spent the money on some road legal slicks instead.

The car could still blow-up and the doors fall off though, we have that hope to guide us through our dark nights of the soul…

Maxsport 205/50R16 RB5 mediums

Driving over to the deepest wilds of Essex to get them fitted tonight

Cool - I have heard of them, no idea what they're like though.

Get a load of front -ve camber - the circuit is very tight in places, I'm in 1st through 1 part. Also make sure your brakes are in A1 condition - theres a hairpin after the 100mph+ banked corner...

Popular with the tarmac rally lot and rated on trackdays. We'll see what they're like on the day I guess.

Can you bring your camber guage please? First gear... hmm.

I'll fiddle with the settings on thursday and friday and also throughout saturday - thats what the practices are for aren't they?

Pads are well bedded in Ferrodo's, they're about 1/2 through after the trackday at Snetterton.

Whys your gearing lower Rob, is it just due to the auto LSD?

Can we not swap Thursdays weather with Saturdays?

I'll bring my camber gauge - I'll need to use it anyway :)

I doubt you'll need 1st - as you know, my first 3 gears are longer than standard.

Yeah, there's not much difference but every little helps...
Standard is ~3.6:1 auto is ~3.9:1

That explains our views and discussion when i had my cage fitted...

Isn't that due to the Gliken box?

Nope :p

Jolly F

Jez was saying that he needed 1st gear because his 2nd was too long for the hairpin but Bob wouldn't. That's why I mentioned the Gliken box

Has anyone got their tickets etc for GT Battle? Post man has just been and I've not got anything, apart from the email I got about a week ago... Not sure if we are supposed to get anything or not. Should be ok if I just turn up I guess.
