View Full Version : S15 Headlight Unit Removal
I've had a look at the service manual about removing the S15 headlight units and it says very little.
Can anyone tell me what needs undoing and how to take the unit out? The S14 units are simple, but I seem to be missing something with the S15 ones.
It is not too bad - there are two bolts on the side of the unit that hold it in place which are easy to remove, then there is another bolt that holds into place on its top, but then there seems to be another bolt holding the unit on that I cannot locate. (At the moment I have my headlight half out as I am installing my cold air feed system). I will have another look tonight..
Why you removing your Headlights??

i got all the bolts undun on mine but couldnt get it out still looks like you gotta have the bumper off to me? seems the bumper wont give enough movement to get the unit out!
Yep, this is what I've found. There's a bolt somewhere I can't locate.

To fit my HIDs. :)
You may want to PM ninjasx, he fitted mine, and should know them inside-out ;)
You need to take the bumper off to remove the lights.
1: the lights won`t fit past the bumper
2: there is a bolt that you cannot get to without removing the bumper.
hope this helps you guys
Ah so you can get the bumper off without moving the lights? Thats a bonus.
