Had a good few runs down Santa Pod RWYB today as it was fairly quiet!!

Saw hobbsy off the board in his black S14a who managed a 13.8 and the guy from the fiat coupe board who arranged the two sxoc vs coupe shootouts, who got a 13.9 when i spoke to him :)

I got a 13.5 @ 108mph which im chuffed with considering the pod isnt my favourite surface :D :rolleyes:

lol, yep its amazing the difference good rubber makes to not only keeping your car in a straight line but quarter mile times too!!! :thumbs:

not had any more goes yet since pod so best is still that 14.065,
i know the car is definatley capable of getting into the 13's (not sure about me though :smash: ), may go york or somewhere next weekend and give it a try.

ive just got back from there and was wondering does anybody know what happened to the jet car?
i was at the very very end of the track in the car park just leaving, and saw parts of it fly past. i got a few photos but just wondering what the hell caused it to crash?

i think the driver was ok as i saw what looked like the driver walking around the car with the rest of the team.

It looked like the schute was packed wrong, came out at an angle and pulled the back of the car over to one side and bang :wack:
