View Full Version : 300zx rear brakes on an s14 = piss easy

some one in the Welsh section asked me if it could be done,so...
I asked my uncle (top mechanic) and he has done 2 to date with no
mods needed apart fron 1 extra hole that needed drilling took him 1/2 hr a side....
hope this helps whoever asked :thumbs:

all you have to do is re drill caliper bracket and it fits straight on

I have just had skyline R33 GTS-T Type M brakes put on my front. They went on with no problems. Just bolted straight on using original pipes and fixings.

Well you have to use this black bar that is alongside you in the front mate.

If you pull it up that means the handbrake is on, and if you then push a pin in the end of the bar and put it back down again that means it is off.

I think these are the same as R32GTR rear brakes so you should have no problem fitting yours Buffy :)

Im so glad they made skylines and 300zx's - such easy cheap upgrades for you and me :)

Hang on i assumed this was about fitting to S13's - tone i dont think your quite right there on how piss easy this is - the 300zx caliper doesnt have a built in cable handbrake like the S14 caliper does - so its a bitch of a job as you have to convert to drum handbrake on the S14.

????

putting them on an s14 is pupsy...
took my uncle les than an hr both sides.
makes a load of difference to the brakes much better stopping power
and they look cool
