Ive got the option to pick up a couple of pairs of new AP Racing 4 pot alloy calipers for sensible money. The calipers come complete with different sized pistons and dust seals so the pistons and seals wont be wrecked in 6 months!
I was thinking of using these to put a couple of brake kits together.
I can make the kits to whatever spec you want, i.e. 305mm, 330mm, 355mm or even 375mm :eek:
The kits can be made for S13s or S14s although as the S14s come with alloy 4 pot calipers anyway I dont know what sort of benefit youd see with the APs.
The complete kits would come with the new calipers, AP pads, braided hoses, racing fluid, alloy bells, rotrs, brackets and all hardware to fit it all :)
Price depends on specifications but as a guide a 305mm kit would cost £770. The normal kit costs £395 (using 300ZX calipers) so youre paying an extra £375 for brand new AP calipers and the genuine AP pads. Bearing in mind that a set of scraggy 90k miles 300ZX calipers will set you back £100 and then youve got to buy pads at £98 for decent ones (Redstuff) its not bad value for money :)
