Right, we seem to have started something with these Bit Char-G mini RC cars. Here are some links for people who are interested in tweaking their cars. Enjoy...

Sold!!!

RX-7 winging its way to me shortly.....

Had a good read through the site, and found this corker on the Initial D section. Initial D is a manga series, and this is the description...

"Initial D is an anime about a 18 years old boy Takumi Fujiwara, who helps his father Bunta Fujiwara deliver the tofu from their home to a hotel at the top of the Akina Mountain everyday."

Tofu?!?!?!?!

Superhero is actually Tofu delivery boy!?!?

Modify the feck out of your AE86, financed by Tofu running!

Back in the real world - I think we should combine meets with Bit Char G racing?

Whaddya reckon?

You didnt know Takumi (Hero fella) was a Tofu Delivery boy? According to the story, he's been driving his pops AE86 since he was 14, and has to take a cup of water with him.. If he spills the water, the Tofu will be ****ered for some reason. Allegedly, this makes you the best driver in the world...

Oh, and the logo on the side of Bunta's/Takumi's AE86 reads "Fujiwara Tofu Shop: We deliver"..

hehehe..

I seem to remember that a few people where getting Bit Char-G's, how did you all get on????

I have also found a shop to order them from which is a bit cheaper and easier than using E-Bay:

Check out the new Supra model here:

Hmm, might have to purchase one of those.....

I had a friend from HK bring a couple over and got them yesterday. Sorry guys but he was not willing to bring in bulk.

So I am now racing an R34 Skyline (blue, same as yours Nik ;) ) with my missus who has an Evo 7. However, mine comes with the 2.2 motor so wipes the floors with her Evo :D

Got mine a couple of weeks back from Ebay (also the AE86 Tune Up Box). Pretty good, but for some reason my 3.0 motor upgrade motor is slower than the 2.2 that came as standard

They also sell them in Gadget Shops now.

my 3.0 is totally poo, it doesnt even work at all. ive seen on a char-g forum that you have to break them in sometimes and then they run better.

You have to be very careful to align the motor correctly. Make sure the little tab on the motor points towards the front of the car. Try Hobby Link Japan for these they are the cheapest, ie £15-£20 for all of them, even the special edition Skylines with 2.6 motors are only £18 !!! about £4-5 shipping. Motors cost anywhere between £1.50 and £2 Tyres / gears about £2.50
