We have some more smaple carbon bits in stock. Ive gone for all vented bonnets because the plain are the same but without a vent :wack: ;)

The quality of these things is superb, Ive never come accross any bonnet that matches the neatness and the finish

The 13, S14 and S14a vented bonnets are £495, the S15 £525.

The plain S13, S14 and S14a bonnets are £425. Plain S14 bonnet is £449.

The S14 bootlids are £475.

The doors are £1295.

Ill be doing a deal on those who order up front as we have a large number of plain and vented bonnets, bootlids etc sat with our suppliers at the moment that are coming by boat. Order and pay up front and get a deal

We will be fitting a bonnet, bootlid and doors to our drift car before the next D1 round so keep an eye out for it :) We will also be fitting a bonnet and tailgate to our S13. Watch out for pics comign soon :) Pics of the bootlids will follow, theyve been put away up high and I havent time to pull them back down right now.

The pictures dont in any way do the quality of the finish any sort of justice. They have a very deep shine to them, they have a beautiful look  All the swage lines are really really crisp.

Is the weave on the boots the same as the bonnets? and are S14 boots the same fitment as S14a? Any pics of the boot?

And, is there any way the bonnets could be supplied pre-drilled for bonnet pins for a bit of extra cash?

That looks really cool

I really like the S13 bonnet. Is this the only style you have, or do you have more styles coming on?

And how about bonnet pins? Or isn't that nessecary?

bren
25-05-2005, 18:54
Yeah the weave is the same and yeah the S14 and S14a have the same bootlid.

Ill get pics of the boot in the next day or two, we are going to fit one to our S14 :)

I dont want to drill the bonnets but I suppose I will if you really dont want to do it your self.

We will have plain or vented as above, thats it. Unless you want Chargespeed :)

Pins are £12 and should always be fitted with a fibreglass or carbon bonnet

The doors are very sweet, cant wait to get them on the car :D

Damn, damn and damn, thats my holiday cash gone :D

Drilling would be good   I have no DIY skills whatsoever  My car hardly ever ventures over 70-80mph but I can guarantee I'd be the unlucky one who has the bonnet fly up on them :(

Doors are :smitten:

bren
25-05-2005, 19:54
They look a lot better in the flesh, wait until theyre fitted to a car and then Ill get more pics. Trust me, they will look 400% better fitted with photos taken from correct angles and in decent light

Its the vent towards the back that I dont like :(

Cast your mind back to those kevlar ones that didnt happen......the vents in the red one where :smitten: The sort of triangular-ish ones

Ive just looked on that thread but the pics are all fookered. Was going to put a pic up to show you the one I meant.

The bonnets look :smitten: but i cant justify £500 at the moment as i need my spoiler, boot and rear bumber sprayed plus the wheels refurbed

Was just wondering this too :) But S13
What sort of weight saving would you get if you changed the doors/bonnet/wings/boot to C/F? Quite alot i'd imagine

I was hoping the boot would be less. Thats more than a chargespeed one :(

bren
26-05-2005, 13:37
Ill get weights asap.

As soon as I get two minutes Ill do a group buy type post in our group buy section, the prices will drop a chunk for that :)

Carriage is not included  We never quote including carriage unless specifically asked to as we dont know if customers will add to an order. Someone asks for a price on a sticker, we say £X delivered then they add a set of wheels, a body kit and an intercooler and get the hump with us when the carriage costs change ;)

Wow! just seen these, they look superb!

I would be very interested in the weight comparissons too,
would be interesting to work out the approx (theoretical) corner weights for a stripped out S14 with the whole front end done including FG wings and bumper.

might yet be tempted to sell the Elise and do the S14 thing! :D

There is a 'triangle' which is part of the standard door pressings, not sure how you are going to get std mirrors to fit on those.

hey here's a thought - how does a carbon bonnet react if the driver has a front-end shunt? Does it crumple up, or shatter, or just snap off and fly away?

hmm, could well be interested...

How much would the tailgates be for S13? I'll have to get somebody to do some glass fibre work to match my current tailgate, but will be well worth it to save that weight. Same for the bonnet now I think about it. There goes alot of my money! :D
