TAC will be happy if you do.
BYE CAT!
Bren,
I take it these will fit the S14a without any bending about now?
I am so tempted too!
Yes, they have been redesigned and there shouldn't be a problem with them now.
If you want one let me know before 6pm today and you will have it tomorrow :)
Bren, what`s the spec on the pipes?.... T304 stainless? 95mm pipe?? (do they look as phat and sexy as a Blitz exhaust?)
Si,
95mm  no mate theyre not 95mm. Theyre 60mm and stainless :)

As I had already got rid of the underneath cat, I had to cut through the pipe to get it to fit :(
But its on now, only thing is, no Gasket for the turbo end?
Managed to get the old one back on but I am worried it'll start to blow.
Should there have been one? Can you supply one? :(
Got the Pens though!!! :D :D :D
No they dont supply gaskets with the pipes. What do you mean you had to cut through the pipe?

Cos it replaces both Cats.
My longlife zorst replaced the other cat, but that is also where the silencer is and its loud enuff. I only needed the downpipe bit if you see what I mean?
Its not a problem :D
POP! ;)
I think he means he had replace the second cat already ;)
BTW how much are these pussy removal devices?
I still dont get it?? You mean you cut through the front pipe and re-welded the flange back on?
Vez,
£130 and in stock :)
No, its a tenner carriage.

I needed the bendy bit, that replaces the front cat. Then had to cut it at the back so I didn't have to remove my silencer.
So new pipe attachs to turbo, that cat gone, then cut, then welded onto longlife zorst with a custom made sleeve as it was a different bore size.
Phew,
I will try and draw a piccy later :)
BTW, whats a Nismo SOlid shift (presume its a knob)?
And Bren, how much is a single cat replacement? Just the down pipe?
Just pondering me options atm ;)
Dont know what a solid shift is. If its less than £150 then its probably a gear knob!! LOL
The cat replecemtns are £65 but you cant get the down pipe alone. Even if you could itd be around £120 so it doesnt make economic sense to buy them seperately :)
simanc26

Its not a knob, its the entire stick. Its makes the gearbox a bit tighter kind of. It means your less likely to fluff a gear change, unless you are KevinPS at Santa Pod...................:D

Bren, you couldn't post a piccy of one of these pipes
could you please ???
Had a customs decat job done about 6 weeks ago
(wonderful timing !) but I've got to get the brackets
put back on the cat so they can bolt back on come
MOT time :(
If your pipe includes everything might have to think
again.
Thanks

are you able to ship here? I need a 3" downpipe and 3" exhaust, I don't have to have cats on my car, so if you have cat-eliminator(s) I need one too. I have a '95 200sx, does it being left hand drive effect the exhaust placement? Do you have any bov kits that use a turbo xs "RFL" bov? I've got mine from my now dead eclispe turbo, just need the flange adapter. also, can you get the kit to mount the 300zx tt afm to an S14? sorry for all the questions, but I gotta go fast...errr...faster :)
I can send pipes to Germany, no probs :)
If youve got a 95 then you must have the pre- face lift model? The S14, not S14a? Ive got front pipes and de-cats on special offer for that model, just £90 for both. They normally sell at £170 so theyre virtually half price :)
I would asume that the systems would be the same, regardless of whether the cars left or right hand drive but I cant take responsibility for the exhaust if it doesnt fit. Youd have to do the rearch to make sure they are the same before ordering.
The above pipes are 2.5" though, not 3".
"Do you have any bov kits that use a turbo xs "RFL" bov?"
I dont know what you mean??
Ill look into the mounting kit :)

Thanx, what are you listing your prices in? do you except euros? The mounting kit for the "RFL"' blow off valve is exactly what I need, I have the valve and mounting kit for a 1st generation turbo eclispe, I want to put that bov on the 200sx.
The prices are in UK Pounds. Euros are no problem though. If you pay by credit card then the credit card machine and bank will automatically work out the conversion anyway :)
Ive not heard of a company called RFL who make BOVs? What size base has it got? Is it a round tube or has it got a flange on it? Have you a pic?

http://www.srswap.com/pics/products/txs_BOV_H-RFL.jpg
the name of the company is Turbo XS....the valve is called the "RFL"...I don't use my credit cards, I can do a bank transfer or send a cashiers check payable in euros.
Sorry, I dont have anything to do with Turbo XS, I wouldnt even know where to get them from in the UK.
A bank transfer would be fine.

It's ok, think I found a lead on one(bov kit)....I also found some yanks selling full 3" downpipes and exhausts as well as cat eliminators...lemme try them first, I need 3" because I'm looking to run a TDO6-25G turbo (think it's Greddy's T6?kit :)...thanx, I'll be in touch though.
Whos doing 3" de-cats? I can get the large downpipes but not de-cats.

A company at this web address; www.srswap.com ....check them out, lots of yanks buy j-spec sr20's and drop them in the 240sx's.

This may be a stupid question, and is probably answered elsewhere, but how does removing your CAT affect the MOT? I have a 93 S13, If I remove it will it still pass?
pressurized300
27-06-2002, 11:02
I can't answer this question because I'm not subject to emmission testing, I don't fall under the German system here, and I can modify my car as I please. I've heard from a couple guys in california where they do have emmission tests, that they still passed after removing the cats on their 300zx's, but that's a totally different animal (4 cats total)...sorry I can't help.

J REG IS THE LAST YEAR YOU DONT NEED A CATALYST!
So figure it out ;)
I thought the year when you had to have a cat was 93?
Bren, How much are the 3" down pipes for an s14a?
Well the main question/wants are:
Downpipe (no cat)
Cat replacement (yes I do want seperates)
HKS Super Dragger
I uderstand the super dragger is cat back and has 3" pipe, are these easy to mate to the 2" cat replacement pipe?
Cheers
Vez
Doing brain to finger calculations I think I may stand corrected ;)
They are for the S14, not S14a. The only S14a front pipes I know of are 2.5" Im afraid :(

So if you have to have a CAT 93 onwards, how do you guys with S14's pass the MOT with a CAT replacement pipe?
By refitting it everytime they go for a ticket or by finding a friendly mot station ;)
