I've been asked(ish :wack: ) to invite you guys along to Interpro for a rolling road day with the 300ZX owners club :thumbs:
Price will be £30 if they have upto 20 cars, and £25 for 21 cars + :)
I should be running as the new Profec will be in by then, any other takers? :Plug:
Should be a good day out as there'll be a selection of different jap cars there by the look of it :nod:

Wow June 19th, i could have a RR sesh one day after another :rolleyes:
If only you'd put this up earlier, as i've now booked to go on the rollers at Northampton motorsport June 18th, with my old club (RenaultSportsClub)
Still have to get some moddage done befor ethen so i can laugh at the R5's from RTOC, should be good to get a 200 in PGTI mag amoungst the Rens.
Yep, might be up for that. Should have my latest upgrades well and truly sorted by then. :nod:

I'll try to keep it brief...
The car was at interpro for a leakdown test (only garage locally that even knew what one was :wack: ) to figure out what was wrong with it. Despite 'passing' the leakdown test, putting an endescope down the bore showed it was HG on #4 and they said they'd replace it with a MHG for £400. Not a brilliant price but it saved me driving it anywhere else and they said they'd start it straight away.... 2 weeks of BS later they'd finally taken the head off :rolleyes: and found the block had 2mm run out and would need skimming and therefore rebuilding :indiff:
I can't see the point of a standard rebuild and TBH I don't trust them to do a proper job rebuilding it to a better spec, so I towed it back to mine. It's now got most of the engine in the boot and is waiting to be transported elsewhere to be sorted :thumbs:

I should be coming for a nose at this one, cant run till i get my Jez chip, do you know if they are setup for auto's or not. Last one i went on, quick run, power at wheels, no torque figures or anything! (fastest £25 i spent)

Should be able to pop along to this an take a reserves place incase anyone drops out.
Cant commit 100% as i should be getting a new cyl head fitted on the 16th

Here's a further update for you guys:
We're looking at slinking off to a pub after the runs are all complete to have a meal/chat ect. Currently looking at The Ship Inn, which is approximatly a mile from Interpro and serve good food and most importantly have a hooge carpark :thumbs:
Hope a few of you lads can make it :) (It'll save you welsh lads rushing home for food as soon as you're done ;) )

No Idea at the mo. Normally it's the first thing on at Interpro though.
All previous days I've done there went: RWD, FWD, 4WD :thumbs:
Obviously RWD is slightly in the lead today, so I don't know if they're changing it :confused:

Thanks to Tim (FMG) for setting it up, to those that turned up and chatted and to see sx13 kids?! sat in the back all squished up, hope you didnt have to travel far, i struggle getting my son on the back, he's only 18 months old !!!

354bhp is when it started skipping on the rollers :D :D :D
I had a good chat with Dave about this and he said given more time they could of strapped it down a bit better, he extrapolated a proper curve and said it would have probably been 382 - 384 (fly) with a air corrected figure of 401bhp (fly), whatever that all means! :confused: :confused: :confused:
Strangely my graph says 'max power @ 172 mph' and 'max speed 178 mph' whats that about? :confused:
