Been posted ages ago, thought it might be of intrest to some of the newbies on here. they only test 4 but you can get a general idea of how the different methods of filtration fair.

Interesting, though the price of the K&N seems a little steep for 200SX applications.

Apexi - The best :D

K&N - Best value for money :)

Blitz and KKS - I guess in Japan where many people dont run a filter before the turbo one of these look nice in your engine bay :rolleyes:

I bought the Apexi filter for mine. It is a top quality piece of kit - came with all the screws mounts etc needed and fitted perfectly. Not as shiney as some other kits but still looks good. Also sounds gound, when you can make out the sound over the noise the Blitz Nur makes!!!
Dunno about power, not RR'd it yet.

Yeah I've seen lots of pics of them running big turbos with open ram pipes going into them. Whats that all about then?

Just been reading that site. I've got a HKS one (the worst apparently :( ) but anyways, it says I need to replace the filter every 10,000 miles.
I've checked takakaira and they sell filters but there are 2 rating types 150 and 200...I've no idea what this means or what the difference...anyone shed some light?

Diameter of the filter in mm I believe mate.
