View Full Version : Flames, not from a Nissan
I was following an RS Turbo yesterday, he was driving slowly through town. Everytime he let off the throttle a big flame came out, he wasn't racing, driving fast etc... :)
I guess he must of been running a dump valve to get this, although I couldn't hear it.
I thought you had to really gun it too get the car nice and hot before flames?
I want my car to do this! :D

Flamethrower (is that the right name?) kit I'd imagine. Spark plug in your exhaust or whatever they do. Costs about £100 I think.

I had considered that, wouldn't fit one to my car though as that seems a bit w@nk.
I can't see why a dump valve would do anything for flames.

Atmos dump valves let excess fuel flow into the exhaust as u change gear or come off throttle which then ignites.

It must have been one of those silly flame kits(prolly saw you behind and thought he'd try and impress you  ) The dump valve does help to spit flames but the exhaust has to be very hot to spark the fuel.
