does any else have problems with the autotrader site completely freezing their whole computer? Even with 98 re-installs and different motherboards?

Sounds like a graphics card driver related problem.

What version of internet explorer you running?

What version of DirectX you running

I'd download the latest graphics card drivers, DirectX and patches for I.E., bloody Microsoft.

pain in the a$$...is it worth spending time updating drivers and patches for one site? You know how these things can mess other things up that were working ok...minutes turn into hours then into days and days into weeks....and that is why I'm back to ie5 in the first place!

Tell me about it, its always a "I'll just update that, it will only take 5 minutes" ah fook, blue screen, ****, mmm me thinks it will be a long night, as I reach for the Windows CD.

I would first try getting the latest graphic driver and then try reinstall Direct X, if that doesnt work, install Linux, ;) down with the MS!!!!:D

I'll finish my work on the computer and then see what updates I can sort out...but let it be known I'm not happy about it and I'm writing to watchdog about microsoft!

ignore that, that was so weird, I clicked on SXOC BB to go back to the main BB and it posted that post again, MS know I'm slaggin em off and have taken over my IE.
