View Full Version : HELP with head unit wiring

Tryed to install my new head unit today....but when i got it away fromt he facia i saw that the monkey who had owned the car before me had made a total hatchet job of the wiring so much so i have no idea what wire does what.

Has anyone got any idea what wires are which?

I assume that you don't have the connector no more right?
There 4 wires that are important:
red = 12 V (with ignition)
black = ground (earth)
yellow = 12 V (continouos)
blue = antenne (amplifier)
The others are the speaker wires, but I don't know the colours matching 100% no more, but guessing from what I remember it is as follow:
white = front left
grey = front right
green = rear left
purple = rear right

If these are not the colours that you have, you can give me the colours and I'll try to match them for you.
