Yeah, for some reason it gets to 9Mb uploaded then dies, will try again today.
EDIT - sorted
The S13 is all sorted and running. Its work in progress though and its going back down to Garys next week to have a plumbed in fire extinguisher, Cusco diff, different turbo (GT3071R), new filter, 720 injectors (tpo raise power from 400 to hopefully 450+) and a remap :)
We also have a body kit landing for it first thing next week so it will soon look as well as it goes
Midgers drifting that complete bottom corner was awesome :notworthy:

wow thats a quick car, and some fckin good drivin too :notworthy
It is quick :nod :)
Its only on a trailer because its on race tyres so cant be used on the road at the moment. We trailer it to track days and it lives on the trailer here because it takes up less room than seperatign them :)
Its all road legal bar the tyres though and Ill be fitting some road tyres and driving it down to Garys next week :)

oic, discs looked a little rusty so i thought it was out of action withit beingon trailer too.
Will be good to see it up against the s14 when its ready
You could have taken the spin ouit  :p LOL :D

Theyre iron mate, they go like that in the rain if the cars left for a few days ;)
The S14 is going to be a different animal to the S13. Its not going to be as race orientated so on a track the S13 should kick the S14s ass. Not on the straights obviously but on the brakes and in corners it should eat the S14 :)

I dont know much about track layouts but it would be good to pick one to suit both to a degree, and let the flames fly :smash: :whip:
Somewhere really fast like Silverstone wouldnt be too bad for the S14 :)
you want to drift it at silvestone :) its much better for it
Impressive vid. Nice driving midgers

very nice
Flat out in forth whatever that is :) I wasnt looking at the speedo ;)
can i guess the guages?
far right boost
center oil pressure
far left oil temp.
and holy shit what a differnce in oil temp from start to end:eek:
Midgey, bet it was a relief that u can still do ur thing with decent suspension:)
As usual, nice one mate
Bren what was the noise about 2mins 14, as u turned into the left hander?
sounded bad.
was that the rattley piston noise u were worried about?
oh and oil got well toasty on ur runs too :D

looked like he was fighting the additional grip from the track tyres!! not designed to slide too much me bets!!
still    as ever!!
The noise is probably wheelspin if its on a tight left hander. The car was lifting the left rear and just spining the inside wheel.
The diff thats landing next week should sort that :)
The gauges are (from right to left) fuel pressure, oil pressure and oil temp. Im getting peak temps of 119 degrees!
LOL, Ive just watched the vid again, as if that noise is piston slap!! LOL :D Feck me mate, if that was piston slap do you think Id still be driving!!??
No, we think its the rear subframe creaking as its got both Nismo bushes and pinapples and its rock against the cars floor :)
However you can hear me having to keep backing off the throttle on that corner to stop the inside wheel lighting up :(
I spun on the last lap because someone had wiped out all the cones on that corner so the exit was wider and I thought Id try it in third rather than second but even with a light throttle the car still broke traction in third :( If Id have had Midgers skills then Id have kept it going but I havent so I didnt
it was a scary noise.
reminded me of big ends, which is why i said it.
i thought it was sommat like maybe a tool rolling about in the back, cos tbh it dont sound anything suspension like from the vid.
Not to me anyway.
Maybe something whell like, like maybe flex in the wheels with all the weight over them causing them to rub of the calipers.
really sounds rotational.
I dinnae like it anyway.
Subframe creaking... interesting....
Id quite like to know if u find out Bren mate.
fuel pressure eh, dam, thought the way it was up and down had to be boost.
i was never any good at celcius to farenheight, i always thought 230far or above was bad, but im sure thats more is it not?
fuel pressure eh, dam, thought the way it was up and down had to be boost.
Boost was on the A pillar, 1.4 Bar when I was looking. Took me a while to work it out while beong thrown round the track, at first I also thought it was a boost gauge. Fuel pressure is normalized against boost so it does follow the boost.
Its defo something suspension related on the rear end as it does it if you bounce up and down on the sills when stationary.
All the rear arms that arent rose jointed are now poly bushed so it could be any of those.
119 degrees sounds scary to me but Gary reckons its fine. Youve also got to remember that our gauge will read higher than most as it takes the signal from the oil in the sump, not from an external sandwich plate where the oil will cool slightly.
Fuel pressure is normalized against boost so it does follow the boost.
Good point
*edit* yeah mate mine is in the sump too :)

is that with an open diff and slicks????? if so fairplay midgy, that's awesome :notworthy
Slicks on the front, some old tyres on the rear, stock diff.
Aye, rally moulded slicks on the front, Yoko ****y somethings on the rear with the standard S13 lsd which doesnt seem to work as an lsd in any which way shape or form so might as well be open
I know I was having problems getting the power down and Graham was saying that he was getting so far round the corner and then the car would start to dig in and spin up the inside wheel. Didnt seem to hurt him too much though :D
Hes going to be mental with the proper LSD fitted

some very nice driving on that one, those gauges look very nice, I too thought the far right one had to be boost due to the speed at which it swings round :)
Vid not working :( keeps getting to 1.34MB and bombing out :(
get on MSN if you're desperate :)

Quality m8
That long double corner looked great fun.... tuck it in nice and tight at the start of the 2nd half to miss the cones on exit with the arse end

Car looks pretty tidy as well Bren :notworthy
Its getting there :)
Itll be better next week as its getting a Cusco diff, bigger injectors and a remap so will be even more powerful and, hopefully, much more controllable :)

Nice work Midgers :) That looks like a really fun corner, 3rd gear?
Isn't your car running like 400 bhp Bren? Will be well sorted with the Cusco on there. 2 way or 1.5? Wish mine was as nicely setup :(
Its closer to 500bhp now :) The Cusco 1.5 way is fitted now too
500bhp! Some Serious power! Can't even imagine what that is like in an RS13. MZ or RS cusco? Any first impressions?
RS. I havent had chance to try it properly. We got the car back Sat and blew the gearbox up on Monday
First impressions re the power were along on the lines of "sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttt"!!! :D :D :D

You'll have to hire someone to take trackside vids of the drifting next time! Much better watching from the outside!!!
Top work on blowing the box up Bren. How did that plenum go?
We are on the standard plenum at the moment :) It seems to be working fine.
Class video there. Midgers entertaining as usual, but much better to see on track as opposed to Livingstone Roundabouts! ;)
I was hoping to see you pass that Cerbera but damn Caterham got in the way then you spun. Car looks and sounds awsome!
