I was in for doing 59 :eek: in a 30, I was told by two different solicitors that I was almost certainly gonna get a ban. I didn't bother with them, went in on me own came out with 6 points and a £250 fine, did I get of lightly do you think? or have I been f**ked up the @rse?

Speeding in a 30 is generally not as acceptable as speeding in a 60 zone for obvious reasons of them being built up area's, children playing nearby, people crossing roads the general insensitivity and danger of it.

I thought 6 points was ok, the fine was quite hefty I thought, I've just had three points come off two weeks ago, now I have more, so in all my driving years i've only had two weeks with a clean licence. :rolleyes:
I've bought a boost controller from Richie, a new blitz DSBC :D Just need a standard actuator now so I can have a nice low setting cos with my ND one the lowest I can go is 14psi. I may need some assitance fitting it if your available, and if you don't mind of course;) I'll have to look at the instructions when it comes, to decide weather to try it myself or not. I managed that TT myself, ignition wires were a bit fidely but once I found out which was needed it was fairly straight forward :p
