Since the last plan to get a south west (Plymouth -ish) meet going never happened. how about we try again..?
Something along the lines of a drive across dartmoor, stop at a pub, have some food etc, and then finish driving back across dartmoor.
Dartmoor is big enough, some really nice roads, and plenty of pubs dotted around, weather is getting better as well. We could easily sort something out for say the 9th/10th of april, a couple of weeks time.
so who is up for it? any favourite pub suggestions etc?
I know of two people so far.. if we can get a couple of so more dont see why this can't happen.

i'd be up for this if my car is ever fecking ready! plume of feathers is a nice pub but its not really on the moors, Princetown.
Leg O Mutton is best pub as it has a HUGE carpark. Just because last one didnt happen because of clashes of dates and freetime dont mean it wint happen mate, tis all in hand :)

Cool, any ideas on dates etc? chance before the Haynes day?
Drove pass the Leg o Mutton before, indeed it has a big car park, not been in it before though.
And drives to princetown are always fun ;)
Any chance this could become a regular thing? say once a month? i.e. a south west section of the SXOC pub meet?
Si
The Exeter meeting at the moto could be used as a monthly meeting place too, we can always shoot off and do our own thing i guess :D

doesn't seem to be much interest here ....anyone thought of a date yet ?
Well if youlot fancy a drive to Haynes motor museum to watch the SXOC track day there, its a nice drive, lunch, meet members from further afield and aint a million miles to get there!
Last one was a hoot and you get to meet Jeff, aNNOY HIM AND TALK AND TALK AND TALK TO HIM AL DAY.

Leg O Mutton is a good choice, aparts from one of the fellas working there  lol
Since change of job, I've got most Sundays off now, so will be up for another meet soon, though might not have my 200 much longer. Still be up for it though, so long as no one minds a different car there?

I'd be up for it as long as I've got car fixed and have some cash to get there.
So who's coming along to Haynes track day to watch next week then, it aint far, nice drive and get to meet members from out the area and laugh at their accents :D
