I am going to be doing some drifting this year, have been looking for some venues but no one seems to be very acomadating (spelling) :(
Hopefully I can get something going soon, if anyone knows of any posible venues please let me know :thumbs:
They are based in the south west :thumbs:

Cone Dodgers have done an event off the a303 near Andover. Iam hoping to go, but dont know of any dates yet...

i always thought that was driftworks site as well.....
be nice to have a group of drifters.
or even have our own pet team :)

well guys ive done a couple of drift days with cone dodgers the guy who does it lives near me and andover is closeish it was real good day but he aint done any lately at andover, im struggling to find anyone near me with a 200 of any description cept insane200 from yeovil, n no one really into it that does it underground if you know wot im saying so if im missing out please pm me n tell me were u meet also im gonna do it properly this year in the d1 amateur level like so i want to practice, does anyone have access to a suitable location to practice on i mean a few of us can get together and av a laugh but perfect our skill. cos turning up at silverstone and getting my arse kicked and spinning due to lack of practice aint my f**kin thing, so any ideas would be gladly appreciated or pm me with any thoughts.

Mere (where the lad that sets it up comes from) all the way up to popham services on the A303....normally old drill grounds for the MOD...
He has enquired about using Boscombe Down (as i have)...but to be honest the only area u can really use for that is the airfield (which is being resurfaced at HUGE cost at the moment:wack: )...
The only real thing u could do there is the 1/4 mile sprint runs, or take part in the annual retro car rally circuit (on tarmac and concrete)...but u have to be part of a rally club to enter....

if you look on driftworks site i think there is a few in andover very soon!
I'm always interested in new practice days or places to practice so if you find anything let me know. At the moment i think Aldershot will be the closest, check the driftuk site as thats were you book those ones. I don't think there are any conedodgers days planned at present as Declan is on a rally across africa at the moment.
