hi jez ive got a s14a 69000 miles straight through exhaust k+n filter iridium plugs uprated walbro,do you think i would benefit from one of your chips?what differences will i notice?i would want you to fit it how far are yoou from wolverhampton?I will be getting a fmic in about 4-5 monthsshould i get a chip before or later.

Hi

You will feel a benefit from the stage 1 chip with your current mods. It will feel smoother and more torquey in the mid range. You may even get better mpg. The stage 1 chip will work well with an FMIC too, for even more power :)

I'm based in Newbury (Berkshire), which is about 2hrs away from Wolverhampton. If thats too far you could get it fitted locally - a TV/radio repair shop should be able to do it, but it'd be worth checking first :)

Jez, I am also looking for a stage1 chip, I am based in Egham so would probably run over. Is this something you can fit over a weekend? Prefer not to send the ECU through the post :no:

Yeah, no probs. Takes about an hour to fit a chip - let me know when you're ready :)

Ready for that stage1 chip and fitting Jez, whats the best way of organising a day/time? Happy to run over after work one evening (now the nights have got longer) or weekends?

I know, they are clearly underrated for the engine, just wanted to know...

I'll do one as soon as I get the map :D, in the time waiting for biggers injectors. your map will be much more suitable than the stock one!
