View Full Version : RLTC - local knowledge ?
Anyone local have experience of installing the racelogic traction control ?
More specifically in setting it up properly. I have a mate who is an electrical engineer by trade who can help with the installation, but the software looks quite involved to set it up.
Anyone else with an S14 (14a) local to Bournemouth that knows them inside out ?
Cheers,
Daniel.
I consider myself to be pretty well clued up on them mate. Only differnece between the s13 and 14 setup is the Pulse's per rev from the abs pickups.
Iam based about 15 miles north of Salisbury.
can you get the settings from someone else from the GB with a 14a? download off the unit and emailed perhaps?
Yeah I guess I could (haven't even installed it yet), it's more the fine tuning, and launch control that I will need help on I expect.
RC - I may well be in touch, when I get round to fitting it
Cheers guys.
It's not the software that's the tricky bit IMO, it's the sodding wiring. I think I've finally tracked my problem down to a bad earth
Little tip when you install it.... you have to connect 2 of the ABS chanells to the single ABS sensor, make sure you pick channel's 3&4 for it. I did it a little randomly, and now the rears are channel 2 & 4, makes the graph quite confusing :wack:
