In case anyone is planning to spend a sunny weekend in Clacton, you should be aware that Essex police have a white unmarked Vauxhall Omega which I've seen a couple of times recently.
Last time the Omega was sitting by the side of the road, next to the junction leading to Gt Bentley, this is the first major junction after the roundabout by the big car auctions.
The Omega had a speed (sorry, safety) camera set up in front of it and there was a marked mondeo operating in conjunction who sped off and nicked all the members of the 'Ilford Navy' who sped past in their jetski towing Vitara's:p.
Keep an eye out if you're in the area as these cars will be parked at accident blackspots:rolleyes: and you should drive with extra care:p .

(Also saw the same car on a blue light run down Ipswich road going into town one morning after work, 8:30ish, was there an emergency that the 50+ coppers in the station couldn't handle or was there a bloody great queue and his BACON and eggs were getting cold? :rolleyes: Discuss)
