I'm happy to come over to somewhere near Cardiff to fit the chips. It'd have to be for more than 3 people to make it worth my while.

I should have may stage 2 chips finished tonight (woo!) for anyone interested.

I'd be coming fom Newbury, so somewhere furthest East would be best for me.

Payment would have to be cleared before I arrive: I accept Paypal (with a 4% fee), cheque or bank transfer.

The chips would be £175 for stage 1 or £225 for stage 2. Fitting is £25. I can give you 10% discount on the chips if you're a paid up SXOC member :) Fitting would include the removal of your ECU, the fitting of the chip, refitting the ECU and an ignition timing check.

Let me know what you decide and we can sort out a date :)

Jez can i ask your advice about mine, thinking stage 1 chip here.

Ive got high milage engine, green induction kit, baily evo dump valve, and 3" turbo back xaust, and SS manifold, walbro pump, standard WMIC. Running about 13psi at the mo. It doesnt seem to be particularly smooth with regards to getting on boost, some times it seems to struggle during the transition from off boost to on boost like it either holds back and then go's, or it judders and sort of goes uga-uga and then goes, sometimes its smooth as silk. I am assuming its fuel related, would the Stage 1 chip cure this?

Also is it ok to run 12-13psi on a stage 1 chip or are they designed for 13-15psi? I want to get this cossie FMIC ive got fitted sometime but untill then no more than 13psi i think.

What do you recon?

If you've got an intermittent problem then my chip probably won't fix it. However it will help with the power delivery - it smooths it out quite a bit.

The chip will still work fairly well at 13psi with or without an FMIC. To get the most power from it you will need to run 15psi though.

Yeh, still up for a Stage 2 chip, just waiting for my injectors, can't do nowt till they arrive. It will have to be at some sort of garage with tools for me though as I need to change the injectors and actuator at the same time (talking to chris about this) and I don't want my car to be stuck anywhere just incase theres a problem with the injectors.

They're Nismo 555cc jobies :D . They are supposed to be a straight swap but a few people have had problems after fitting them, hence the worry about the car being stranded :cry:think it was something to do with the O-rings on the injectors. If it's ok and Jez is up for it we can do it your garage :thumbs:

Injectors take about 1-1.5 hours to fit. I'll be able to advise, but obviously I'll be fitting chips so won't be able to help out that much. You will need a set of 4 small and 4 larger o-rings. It'd be good if you can get them fitting before I arrive.

Ade - can you be the main point of contact? I assume that everyone has S14as? If not I'll need ECU part numbers.

As I mentioned before, I'll need payment before I come over. Bank transfer, cheque or paypal (cost an additional 4%) is cool. As people pay I'll post up on here :)

S14a stage 1 inc fitting will be £182.50 or £189.80 via paypal

Its not that hard and you don't need any special tools. Just need somewhere to do it. I can direct while someone does the spanner work, if you like :)

Jez - What actuator did you recomend I get. I just spoke to Apex and they said the uprated ones they have are for the GT28rs and the GT2871 turbos. Could these be made to fit a standard t28? Think their HKS ones.

Arent the actuators all the same fitment :confused:
The HKS adjustable that was on my T28 went straight on to my GT28R :nod: if that helps :)

Having spoken to a few people at the meet yesterday and spoken to a few tuners, I've decided to hold back until I get my new turbo and have the mapping done all together. If I get a chip now I'd have to get it re-mapped again in a month or 2 when I get the new turbo, so i'd just be wasting money.

So probably better to wait for the Stage 3 chip to be sorted or get a piggyback ECU. Sorry for messing you about lads but it make sense for me to wait. I'll come along for moral support though :thumbs:
