I am fairly intent on getting an S14 (14a if I can afford it), but all the insurance quotes so far are around the £1300 mark.
I know there are quite a few variables that affect the quote, but if there are other 22 yr olds driving S14's on the board, what do you pay, and who are you with.
Tried Elephant, not found them as good as Tesco online.
Cheers
Alex.

You tried adrian flux?

I'm paying 733 tpft for an s13 though. I'm 21, 1NCD, 3 Points

When you go for quotes bear in mind that companies like Tesco and Elephant tend to load policies heavily if you alter the car from the manufacturers spec. I expect that you will be tempted to add on a few goodies once you have the car as we all have!!! With this in mind it would be better to go with one of the specialist insurers such as Flux. I'm with them and pay £590 a year but I'm a bit of a wrinkly by the board age average as I'm knocking on at 32yrs!!!

I am with Flux at the moment, but reding through some of the threads in the insurance section, there seems to be a bit of bad feeling about them lately.
On a slightly seperate note, are touring spec cars a higher insurance group?

i think kev200sx had a few problems with a claim of his, i belive the main problem is getting hold of them when there is a problem. Personally, i have had no issues

Well if you are at least 29 and paying mid £700's, then perhaps £1200 ish isn't too bad.
I haven't driven a 200 yet but from reading posts on here quite often it sounds worth the strain on the pocket. Roll on July.
