They put my car on their rollers. They did what anyone else with rollers do. They gave me my print out at the end of it. They charged me £47.
About as much as anyone else does, really. That was just for a power run to see if the engine was making the normal ammount of power before I started modding it.
They do lot of subaru stuff and seem professional enough at what they do. I've also used them for my suspension geometry and they spent a lot of time on it and set it all up fully. Charged me a fair old whack though... >_<;;
Personally, I've not had a bad experience with them (per se), but I think if you were to ask Maverick the same question, he'd give you a different story. Seems to me they're just like every other tuner in that they have their good days and their bad days...
I went to a Skyline shootout day, and had a power run etc. They seem to know what they're doing BUT they didn't put the CO2 meter on any of the cars, and some of the skylines were detonating, could have been very expensive. :indiff:
cheers for that. :thumbs: i really need to get and see what sort of power im putting out now. :nod:
IIRC the Fiat boys went there twice, the first time they were happy, the second time it was spitting out odd results. Could be another place called power station, you could easily check on their forum, or PM Fishy Dave on this board.
They certainly know cars and how to tune them. Depends what you want tho really? Their 4 wheel laser alignment is second to none. As for jap stuff well they were prepared to let me do the adjustment (safc2) whilst they read the lamda readings and run the RR and gave advice on lamda. If you have Motec then they're the boys for the job:thumbs: What do you want them for?
cheers for that. :thumbs: i really need to get and see what sort of power im putting out now. :nod:
ah right, I must read the whole thread in future :rolleyes: Yeah they're cool for a power run:thumbs: To be honest if you think you might want to do some adjusting etc you would be better off booking an hour on their rollers (£70 I think) Then you can have as many runs as you like and they dont hold you to exactly an hour if they're not busy.
