View Full Version : Croft Trackday - Sat 23rd July - £175
Chatting with Dunc on MSN last night (well not me SM), he was complaining about lack of decent tracks in Scotland.
Well Darlington isnt too far, and Croft is an excellent Circuit ~2mins/lap
Sat 23rd July has good chance of being dry, £175 is cheap, and we should be able to get a decent Turnout with Scots + NW's + NE's.
Whatcha all reckon??

So if it's posted in here too, do you want it for members only then?

its a public trackday, so anybody can go.
Hopefully though, if we get in and book we can have somehwere into double figures from SXOC. We managed 5 @ Elvington in Winter, surely we can manage 10-15 in mid-summer on a proper track.
EXTRA NOTE .... THERE IS LOADS OF RUN OFF, VERY FEW CONCRETE WALLS/TYRE WALLS (other than corner 1) so very little chance of damaging your car
Watch the vids - I'm sure you will all agree its a A1 track
Great Venue for Touring cars, been there twice myself to watch
I'll book the instant one other person does, to start the ball rolling.

I'm thinking about this, i'm tempted, just a few things to sort out!
Its up to everyone else but id bin it to be honest as 99% of cars that move under there own steam will be at billing!
I think we shopuld be bin it, depsite right price, location, month .... we'll not get many people going.
However I know what I would prefer, cars on stands isnt for me, cars on tracks is :D Was going to go to JAE this year though, not for the show, for the people
I'll try and find another £150-£180 event at Croft in Summer though ... deffo a good track, deffo good for Scotlanders/Northerners....
Sorry for getting peoples hopes up and dashing them ..... especially my own.
I thought I had checked everything out before posting / PMing.
