unsuitable (too fast and open) and expensive I reckon, plus there's fairly strict noise regs there

Three Sisters would be much more like it

Who is organising this???

Open invite - if you'd like any help organising an event there then I'd gladly throw myself into it, I'm local too.
I really think that this track would be the business, noise issues mustn't be too bad either as they run a 10 year old formula 1 car there.

Yeager or the dirft federation or the borg or summit I lost track ages ago :D it is the business tho without a doubt.

I live about 5 mins from oulton park, now I know that they wouldn`t entertain drifting, but that was before Johnathan Palmer took over, I also have a few contacts there (Marshal the pit lane during the race season) so I`ll have a word about using the large paddock area for drift practice, and talk about costs.

the paddock would be good mutley, I was thinking of what area of the track you could use - I guess the only bit would be Cascades/Fosters (though Island hairpin would be impressive)
I'm certainly up for this if anything comes with your contacts

Maybe we should organise something with Three Sisters between the NW peeps??? (sommat to chat about at the next Mascrat)

Yes someone up north needs to get a hold on a few places without a shadow of a doubt. I would be happy to help in any capacity i can. Theres already solid proven contact from the events that Vez and co run with the karts. Drifting / Tracking on it would just be an extension thereof.

Was thinking about this yesterday, maybe it would be a bit dangerous in places, plenty cars end up crashing at deer leap, the infield bit would be sweet though.. doesnt Oulton Park have that nice twisty little rally track they use the cossies on? Its got run off and isnt massively high speed, its quite slim tarmac but id love to have a blast on there.
