could someone near plymouth do me a favour?

Hello guys, I am just wondering if someone from around the plymouth (or in cornwall) area would be able to have a look and listen to me car to see if any of my suspect rattles are suspect as i am pondering a new nd engine if needs be. please send me a pm or reply here if you can lend a hand :thumbs: cheers in advance.

Is the car driveable ?? wot sort of noise is it rumb/knocking/scraping etc.. does it only happen under load ? CA18 or SR20 ? :confused:

sorry bout that, its an s13 ca18. basically, when i start it up in the mornings, its got sticky lifters but then when i drive down the road and dip the clutch there is a bit of a rattle as the revs drop, but its very faint. i just want a bit of an oppinion as to what it could be. Sounds more like a tip ex pen being rattled, not much like the clips of big end noises ive herd. cheers

Sorry mate CA's i would'nt have a clue about ?? most of the rattles in the SR are explainable but the CA ?????

If the car is driveable take it to AP Motors in Plympton, they did the full engine rebuild on my SR20 and they are the best around this area.

Hi mate, im in plymouth later in the week to pick my car up so will meet up and have a listen for you having had my big ends go i know that sound :(

Let me know whens good and see if we can sort it out, remember to keep that strut brace tight as i will nick it :D
