Just watched the Austrian GP. What the Fcuk are Ferrari playing at.
They are now definately off my desirable motors list.
I think it's called winning at all costs, would you really not buy a Ferrari after this?
(I'd get a 996 Turbo if I had the choice!)

Hi DJFish
Have always found Ferraris a bit unreliable in the past. (What the hell am I saying, I've got an S13 - :D )
Well I,ve always fancied a Daytona.
Weeeeel, if your going to twist my arm it'd have to be a firkin great 512for getting the weekly shop in, and a 250swb for the weekends and showing off.
Dave
Yeah, Ferrari just became the least popular team in F1.
In all fairness Mike Schumi wasn't exactly proud of his "win".
Old Rubens had trounced him all weekend.;)
Dunc.
OK if we're talking dream time then mine's a 275LM. I saw one at Goodwood and it's the meanest car I ever heard!!!! You know the feeling?? When you stand behind it it gives you a heart massage as each cylinder fires!!!!
The one saving grace of the programme was Beverley Turner........

So he says. There can be no doubt he was involved in the decision, in fact he probably was the one to make it, Ferrari is geared around him after all. Barichello is only a supporting actor, and he knows it which is why he gave up the lead. No driver with an abiding passion for winning would have given up the lead t that stage, no matter what the cost, but a journeyman (with a new contract paying him ten million dollars over two years)would.
Doesn't make it right or fair, but F1 revolves around money, not ethics :(
It was just another act in the puppet show that is now F1 and another nail in it's coffin.
Barrichello would have had no option but to yield to Schumacher as I would bet a vast amount of money that he has a penalty clause written into his new contract that stings him should he fail to move over when required. Rubens must want to be at Ferrari really bad cause he must have been aware how they treated Irvine when he occupied his seat. I feel more sorry for the sport itself than I do for Rubens. :(
It's because the the races are now so sterilised and predictable they now rely on scandal and crashes to get publicity. Get rid of that rug wearing tw*t from the ruling body and let someone who loves the sport rather than the size of his wallet in charge!!!
RANT OVER!!!!;)
Like Ross Brawn said though, it's a team sport and it always has been.
I have a kind of grudging respect for Ferarri's openness about it, after all, they could have swopped them around at the first pit-stop and no-one would be any the wiser.
I can't see what all the fuss is about really. Everyone knows who won the race so it's only the stats and records that suffer, and you can bet Beano will be handed a few wins once Schumy wraps the title up in July! Will everyone complain about that too?
Doubt it somehow....
I think its in the game. I dont think shumi was too happy about it, but as he said "We'd look pretty silly if I lost the championship over those points"
Barrichello didnt seem too bothered - thats coz he has just signed a 2 year contract with ferrari on Thursday ................
Its a fckin procession anyway - if you want to see motorsport, watch Superbikes :)
BTW - Barrichello lives in Cambridge - all the best drivers do ;) :D

given up on F1, still take an interest in the result but i fall asleep if i try and watch a race.
Now the BTTC, that is proper racing, cars getting a foot of air off kerbs around corners, and still doing ridiculous overtaking manouvers,PROPER, and you get Vicky Butler-Henderson introducing the program, which is nice
