GODDAMMIT!!!!

Just been hunting about to find out when Lord Of The Rings comes out on DVD (didnt manage to catch it at the cinema) and Ive found out that there are 2 editions coming out. Theres the cinema release version on 6/8/02 and then the special extended edition on 12/11/02.:eek: Bugger. I was looking forwards to getting it in August but I hate it when a special edition comes out 5 minutes after Ive just bought the film so it looks like I'm going to be waiting until November to see it. Arse.:(

And when the dvd comes out do you get the widescreen or pan n scan, so that makes four copies!!! Marketing eh, it really is an easy job...

As an aside, was reading the weirest thing, that a load of americans have set up a petition suggesting that calling the second film "the two towers" was disrespectful to the victims of the world trade center attacks... A little bizarre?
