Rock Star- Arm pit edge=Cold sweat:eek:
Good man, go for the back piece, there is nothing like feeling the needle touch your spine and vibrate into your skull:D

Remember.....breathe deep and relax cause after the first hour it's all pleasure:) :) :)

but i've never been in an ink-joint.
Seen it on telly though...
How does it actually work? There's that whole vibratiing thing going on - is each osciallation a different stab, a different pixel in the final image???

And what about that guy who had 99.8% body surface done? There's bits I don't even want to CONSIDER...

 inside of the arm was bit painful but lower down my arm towards the funny bone..........KING OF PAIN!! My arm was vibrating on the bone! Tat looks cool tho so it was worth it! :D

Starionman:

one worse places for pain I have had is between the bicep muscle and the shoulder muscle. everyone said that having your back done hurts like hell but after the inital eek I hardley felt anything. 3 vists to complete each side of my back because I bled to much, something to do with to much booze the night before:eek:
Worst ever was one I did myself on the leg, fookin hurt that did.
Starion man, they use whats called a gun. basicaly a motor which vibrates a needle up and down into your skin letting the ink soak in. Bizarrely it is very addictive.
There was something once where a guy said he would bet 5 grand for someone to have the whole of each of there soles done, bugger that

Addictive?

Oh yes:D

Both the tops of my arms are cover-ups.

I had eight session of approx 2 1\2 hours each done every two weeks during the winter of 1998.

Everytime I left the studio I was on a high for about three days:)

Didn't have a good nights sleep all winter that year because I was so sore, but man it's worth it

After all this talk of pushing ink I'm thinking of doing my right calf now........

No, doing it yourself looks messy. I used a pen to draw origonal lines, a matchstick to apply the ink and a needle to stab away. result = pain and a crap tatt . but that didnt matter when your a kid
