Hi Gary,
I've just fitted a FMIC and wondered if i need remapping....
It was set up by you last summer with an uprated WMIC but i've noticed a hesitation around 120mph/5000rpm. This is similar to before i had the original map and it was overfuelling at the top end. Although i am pushing out 270 bhp with the original injectors so i know these are at their limit.
any advice you can give would be appreciated.
cheers
Mick

hi mate
be interesting to see what difference the fmic has made to it
might be now at the point of going bigger injectors we could remap what you got but knowing the injectors are nearly maxed would be wasted money
i cant remember does you unit surport bigger injectors?,i seem to remember it only does wide open thottle
its up to you if you want to bring it over for me just to check!!!!

Hi Gary,
I hope to get bigger injectors soon so i will leave the remap until then but your comment about only allowing for wide open throttle concerns me a bit.
What made you think this and what difference does it it make?
(not questioning you, only my lack of knowledge)
I have attached a short description of the HKS SAFR functions and i would have thought that the Gain/fuel curve airflow adjustments between 650 and 8000 rpm would mean that it not only covers 'wide open throttle'.
