Gary,
Any thoughts of doing an uprated head for higher revs, with springs, solid lifters, etc... and some porting?
You could perhaps sell complete uprated heads for straight swapping.
Just a thought, since (by all reports) the head seems to be the weaker area on the S14 SR, needing attention before the bottom end (at least as far as high revving is concerned)
If the new head was then placed on a standard bottom end, (maybe with a thicker metal HG) and big/medium turbo with tubular manifold,
then revs increased and mapped up to say 8000, this could perhaps produce a very nice Big power band and high peak power figure (very 'streetable' as they say)
all for a reasonable price :D
Only a wee idea! :p
.
good idea, I'd be more interested in an uprated head than bottom end

i can do that no prob its just the cost of top end components.
also people always want different cam profiles.
but i can get a ported and polished head done for stock but just will be bare pllus anyone after any head spec can order it as we got to bare heads now.
Extremely good price for what you get, top work  now I know how much to keep in the bank if my car goes boom.
Old post being brought up I know...
Anyway did this ever take off?
Also what power would this engine be giving?

yes it did we try to keep one in stock at all times
we have just fitted a couple so will be mid jan when another one is done
you can always pay a deposit for it so its reserved
as for power the engine gives would be depending on turbo etc,but will take
safely 350-400bhp

Sounds cool...
Probably a dumb question but,I have a stage 2 from HD, will this swap keep everything as is, just provide me with a stronger unit to add up the power, in other words I won't need it remapped...

stages in engine have nothing to do with stages in chips
its just how we name our engines
