Anybody fancy it?
OPEN PITLANE FOR £129 !!!
http://www.trackdays.co.uk/ (http://www.trackdays.co.uk/tracks/oulton-park.htm)

Might Snow :wack:

Other options for early-year trackdays include:
Anglesey 22/23rd Jan - OP - bookatrack - £125
Elvington 22nd Jan - OP - Javelin £89
Elvington 29th Jan - OP - bookatrack £99

There are loads, you can probably do 2 a week all year if you can afford it :notworthy but the Oulton one is particually good value, if a shit time of year.
Probably should just do the Elvington one in Jan/Feb, less chance of totalling the car :wack:

Im still gonna do it tho, and my mate is gonna bring his 350Z. I think it'll be ok as I have a good knowledge of the circuit and ill study JSF's recent footage  I think I'll be fine :)

Feb 26th. I'm in.

EDIT - just looked at the trackdays page. £50 for an additional driver  That's steep, but I suppose it limits the time on track per car, as it's advertised in advance as open pitlane.

Yeh i dont fancy taking me sx round a greasy wet snowing iced up oulton, its looks very tight with not much run off and alot of armcos :o

What/where is elvington? is that that airport place with cones put down that someone had a vid of? That looks better to me, cones dont bend metal too easy ;)

Near York, probably my vid, many trackday places use it, its cheap, but it will kill whatever tyres you take in a day easily.

Maybe, might have a change of plan now, as I need to test my coilovers quickly, and therfore back to Elvington in Jan, and some track in March ... bugger :annoyed: Fancied Oulton on that day, Cheap :D and one of the best tracks in the country I reckon :D

Go on

I'll give you a FullMental™ passenger ride when I've got my bearings on the circuit :wack: (shouldn't take too long as I've literally spent hours (actually I think days is more accurate!) driving it in more simulators than you can shake a stick at, one of them must be pretty close to the proper layout :smash: )
How can you turn down a loony offer like that? :p

Sounds good, will also do the same for you :p
Comes down to funds :( If I buy coilovers tomorrow, and go to Elvington 29th Jan, then I very much doubt I'll be able to afford it.
When I started the thread I was not getting coilovers, so had the funds I would have thought.

Just lost my Xmas Holiday. ... too overtime.
Should pay for my Coilovers :D And Booked Elvington 29th Jan (http://www.sxoc.co.uk/vbb/showthread.php?p=1320642#post1320642).

Sometime late Jan I will double check the funds but with 6 days overtime over Xmas I should have the cash to do this as well :D

W00T! I'll be booking this after crimbo if my funds will still cope

Any idea how secure it is up there? As I'll be arriving with 4 spare wheels + jack, axle stands ect. Obviously I won't be keeping them in the car on track, and I don't want my road tyres walking off while I'm on track :smash:
