Anyone notice that the record holder was a rally prepped RS200?
3.07 seconds, I thought that the JUN Hyper lemon was faster to 60 and was street legal.
Didn't see the program (I take you are talking about '5th Gear' - Missed it again :mad: ), but on the subject of RS200's - Someone my friend knows (seriously rich) has just got a RS200. He recons it is in the guiness book of records as the fastest accelerating road car (must mean standard). Is this right?

It was an RS200 EVO, one of the last of the line (bored out to 2.1, 650+ bhp, etc)
The 0-60 record figure quoted is for 'production' cars. I must admit that I thought the Caterham R500 held the record.
