Like it says in the title - I'll soon need insurance for something (probably much less than a 200 :( ) with very little (if any) NCB and a claim to my dis-credit.

Any ideas??

PS How many years NCB do ya lose for a claim - sounds like a silly question, but the woman @ Tesco suggested they take 2 years off, not all of it.

cheers guys :)

I take it you didn't have a Protected NCB?

You will lose 2 years of your NCB, not terrible really. :)

Don't forget you will also not gain a year for this year - so really it will seem like 3 years you will lose come next renewal.

Admiral group (Admiral, Bell Direct, Elephant.co.uk) and Tesco didn't increase the premium for one accident in 3 years. May be worth a try. If you do it all on-line you can see what the difference is (check premium without accident added first as you often can't remove the details of the accident later on)
