What were they like for mods, cause i've just had to pat 25 extra for blitz air fliter and they quoted between 100 and 200 for a blitz nur spec zorst.

I cant be doing with such expenses, so was wondering if anyone else had the same problem.

Obviously only those who have declared their mods need reply :D

I paid an extra £95, inc the £25 admin fee for the following mods:

Lowered 30mm
18" Alloys
Blitz SUS
Blitz BOV
Blitz NUR SpecR
Blitz MSTT

That was back in Feb last year.

I am with the Flux and declared a SS Zorst and K&N Filter before I took out my policy.

There was no additional charge.

If you declare mods after taking out policy they tend to just charge an admin fee. (Depending on what the mod is of course!)

dont like me either, i declared EVERYTHING mod wise, my sp30 alarm and immob all of it and i received a e-mail telling me that it was £980 f/c phone them up to go ahead and it jumps up to £1600 and wont do tpft, phoned up loads today, mention all stuff done, but as soon as i mention a chip its " sorry we wont touch you good-bye" ???????????, surely a chip isnt nearly as bad as a T3 and fmic + the rest of the mods, does anyone know why insurance companies are scared of chips?
