Just for board members information:
American's measure the octane of the fuel by taking the values for MON and RON (I believe we use RON ratings), adding them together and dividing by two, basically getting an average. The Mon rating is lower than RON, hence 94 octane USA is equivalent to approx 97 octane here etc.
