Initial D

I've got quite into Initial D, having watched the 4th series. Are the other series as good, and worth looking for? Any ideas where I might find torrents for the 3rd series? :)

Hi, there are lots of torrents out there, I have downloaded every episode! a freind of mine has bought the whole DVD (stage 1,2 and 3) set off ebay if you want to get them the legit way ;) The other stages are just as good if not better there are some amazing races

Series one is the best, 2 is ok. Extra Stage and Stage 3 (The movie) are a bit pants.

Stage 1 is the best, it shows the progression of Takumi's character. Series 2 has some good races in it, but lacks the charm of Stage 1. The bonus Stage is excellent though.

The current stage (stage 4) is on form though! Enjoying the episodes (and them theme song) very much so.

Either way you should get all of them (torrents from suprnova.org or just search around), and watch them in sequence as it's a sequential storyline, and there is a lot of progression in Takumi's character which is basically what the whole program is all about.

Which series charts the development of Project D? It gets mentioned in the extra stage, which I assume is chronologically similar to stage 3?

project D is stage 4, the current stage.

But is the development of the team not followed in earlier stages - for example, in the extra stage ( :sleep: ) a character refers to the plan to start up Project D.
