right ok, i bought this car as a project basically, it was over heating, not charging and needed body repairs, this is the only bit ive got left. i know for a fact its mechanically sound so its all electrical. when i start her up she sounds flooded so spluters, if you floor her (in nutral) she coughs and splutters and struggles to get past 3 grand, if your gentle the floor it, it will go to about 6 but burbling and makes popping sounds wen you ease off. hope this help. anything ive missed just leave abuse and ill include it in the next post  many thanks

is it misfiring? boost leak? sounds exactly what mine was doing a couple of days back, turned out it was a boost leak.

Sounds like it's sucking in air somewhere. Or it could be a dodgy AFM??

haha yea it aint good ay! right ive hooked it up to some wierd and wonderful computer i had access to and the throttle position sensor isnt reading correctly. im getting another one sent down so ill put that in and see what happens. basically its only putting a signal out 1/3 the strength its ment to on idol then wen you move the throttle it makes an error! the guy before me also had the wrong plugs in so ive changed those aswell. once thats all in the AFM's next! ill post back when i have more info! thanks guys
