Got stopped by the police yesterday afternoon who gave me 3 points on the spot, w*nkers

the story goes like this:
i enter a road and even spot the cops at the end with their flashing lights, and proceed down the road. I am accelerating gently to 30 when to my surprise the pig jumps in the road and waves me to pull over, which i do (thinking he wants to do a car check or whateva)!

as i get out he starts shouting at me saying people like me kill little children in the road, at which point i still keep my cool and be polite and say i was not over 30mph, and explain that my exhaust makes 30mph sound like 50mph. Then he tells me to be quite and he dont wanna know. I try explaining for a minute and even start my car up for him to listen to how loud the exhaust is! My mate now loses it and makes the cop go all red, really digging at his proof and reasoning for the 3 points! To make me madder, he see's (along with a van full of pigs) a car do a right tun at a left only junction right in front of them and smirks, which i then question him about and say "NOW THATS DANGEROUS, GO AFTER HIM THEN U *****!"

Now this is the worst cop i have ever come across. Luckily i have a witness who told me that this cop had just crashed his car at the current junction (where i assume people cross the road-so he's the dangerous unaware *****, not me!), at which point i look over to his car to see it smashed! He is obviously takin his anger and embarrasment out on me :(

To add, i note that another police officer who was standing on the road just left and went into a police van full of pigs as he was pulling me over, if i was so dangerous how come he didnt come and say anything or back his colleage up.

The bottom line is i was not speeding, but still got the penalty and producer, BUT I WILL SEE HIM IN COURT!

I'm just after some advice please guys, he has no proof of my speed, can he base his arguement on what he thinks he saw?

cheers, i dont feel like driving anymore :(

PS: as i left, i popped, banged and hopefully flamed in his ugly face as well (all below the speed limit......... haha) :D

If you accept the charge on the spot then there's not a lot you can do, but if you deny it and take it to court then the bacon hasn't got a trotter to stand on. No proof, no corroboration, no nothing but a guy who's judgement of speed has just been proved to be less than perfect.

Wish I could be there. There's nothing better than watching the Mag slag the prosecution off for time wasting! :D

bad luck mate :(
really hope it all works out for you.
when i had an accident last year, even tho it wasnt my fault i got charged with driving without due care.
They had no proof other then the stupid bint who smashed her crappy fiat uno into my lil GTi :( and her "witness" (who i think wanted to get in her pants) saying he saw me "speeding" even tho he turned up after the accident. In the end it went to court an the filth had to back down cos they had no real evidence other than two well dodgy statements that i could disprove :)
it all turned out ok in the end cos they dropped the charges :D

Ive still not got my crash cash for my written off baby tho, even now 18 months later... :( :( :(

Theroetically you need two separate pieces of evidence to proceed with a speeding prosecution. So a copper and a device or two coppers would count. If he brings one of the other coppers along they could say that both of them had formulated the opinion youwere speeding.

Still, I doubt it will even get to court anyway. CPS don't likewasting their time and being slaged by the bench for time wasting.

I reckon if they summons you, a polite letter to the CPS pointing out the copper had been involved in an accident and was obviously shaken might result in them withdrawing. Let me know if they proceed and I'll forward you some questions you might like to use.

Last time I was in court I had the copper in the witness box for 2 hours and 15 minutes. he was well pizzed off when I had finished asking him about 100 questions. Haha.

cheers guys, i'll defo take him to court to humiliate him, he has no proof of my speed, and i even made him state that he was making his allegations of speeding by himself, as none of his colleagues wanted to come and help him out or back up his story on the spot.

i think they were surprised he stopped me, i think his crash moments earlier really peeeed him off, haha :D

When you get to court, tell them that you are sorry for being such a bad boy and have learn't the error of your ways.
Then tell them that you are selling the car and becoming a murderer because you know that you will never get caught because all the fat piggies are sitting in their cars behind bushes trying to get their hit count up :D :D :D

I love this defence. I'm can't wait to try it out next time I get a pull for speeding on my bike -

'sorry officer, but look I've got an illegal race can fitted and it's really noisey'.:) :) :)

A biker would get a better deal by saying 'oh but officer, I've just left the pub, I've drunk 10 pints and I know I've been riding really slowly cause I can't focus further than 2m beyond my front wheel. Look, smell my breath'.

When your on the bike you need to ride faster so the coppers cant catch you!
